Parachutes are visible in the first photo. PW marked on the roofs of two buildings, second photo, fishing boats in the third.
Looks like some type of quarry next to a body of water, very interesting subject matter.

USAF 22nd Air Refueling Squadron
 An excellent early USAF Air Refueling Squadron album ~ features 200+ period original photos.  Most of the photos are I.D.ed and captioned on the reverse.  The photos cover a period from 1952 – 1954 while based out of March AFB.  Content includes several TDY’s including North Africa, England, Hawaii and Goose Bay Labrador.  This squadron was established as part of the 22nd Bombardment Wing flying KC-97 tankers.   Great content!

USAF 26th Air Refueling Squadron
A great early USAF Air Refueling Squadron album belonging to Airman DuWayne G. Greller ~ features 70+ period original photos, newspaper articles about the unit, post cards, service records, membership cards, unique certificates and more.  Much of the album is nicely captioned.  The photos cover a period from 1953 – 1954 while based out of Lockbourne AFB, Ohio.  Content includes TDY’s to England and Kwajalein.  This squadron was established as part of the 26th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing flying KC-97 tankers.  Very nice content!

CACW 8th Fighter Squadron 3rd Fighter Group Wall Hanging
Measures approx. 32” tall by 16.5” wide.  The squadron insignia measures approx. 11.5” tall chain stitched on a Bamboo weave background.  Shows some typical age toning and use, but excellent display condition.   A very rare piece of CBI Theater memorabilia!  $1,800.00

U.S. Air Force Organizational Flag
449th Bombardment Wing: 
A very scarce period original organizational flag in mint condition.  Measuring 38” x 49” in size, including the fringe material.  Double sided embroidered on rayon cloth.  The 449th Bombardment Wing was activated in November of 1962 based out of Kincheloe AFB, Michigan flying B-52 bombers SAC. These flags were designed and made unit specific and displayed within the organization until disbandment, at which time the flags were supposed to be sent to Wright Patterson for archival purposes.  A rare opportunity to obtain an original!  $495.00

927th Troop Carrier Group: 
A very scarce period original organizational flag in mint condition.  Measuring 39” x 51” in size, including the fringe material.  Double sided chain stitched embroidery on rayon cloth.  The 927th Troop Carrier Group was activated in February of 1963 based out of Selfridge AFB, Michigan flying C-119s. These flags were designed and made unit specific and displayed within the organization until disbandment, at which time the flags were supposed to be sent to Wright Patterson for archival purposes.  A rare opportunity to obtain an original!

A great early large USAF recruiting display banner measuring 26.5” x 53.5” in size.  Double sided multi-piece embroidered on cloth material.  The overall condition is very good with some typical age toning in areas and wear spots as shown.  There can’t be many of these left hanging around!  A very nice item for the early USAF collector!
